May we contact buyer directly or not? My spouse remarked this morning that several of the local dishes available were exactly as remembered from childhood. I enjoyed the bacon and eggs over-well, and the freshly-made coffee was a treat. Dumplings, fruit, breads, even some bread pudding, many local juices green bean, soy milk, watermelon juice , highly recommended!
The location on the riverside park meant a very relexing view. Try to get a higher-level floor. Nicer than any I've seen before, and I've seen a lot of them. The only quibble would be only instant coffee in the room, rather than something a bit better. On a side note I also stayed a few days at the 4 hotel on TripAdvisor, definitely at least a 2-star experience. Had to stay there for family reasons.
No comparison at all, everything was sub-par, in particular the service attitude and the hour 'restaurant' had us finding a local eatery instead, with my broken Chinese language and all I just moved to Wuhu after spending 4 extended teaching trips to Anhui province local in another city. I didn't stay at this hotel but was invited to stop at their new outside tent restaurant which had great food and a big choice of beer from Budweiser to Tiger to varied German beers.
The outdoor restaurant host was a young Cuban man with good English skills and while eating drinking there I met a Bosch engineer from Hungary another young employee from Australia and a local, young Chinese man who spoke very good English he had worked years in Australia.
What nice staff. We went inside to look around and listened to the Malaysian lounge duo sing hits in three languages while drinking a Long Island Ice Tea. This is a beautiful place. Its clean, safe and yet has an old China feel. Next to the Double Tree is the nearly 2 mile long Riverside park running along the historic Yangtze river, down the street a few blocks is the preforming arts theater and the children theater, there are lake parks and a must visit, Temple Mountain which is a Buddhist site open to visitors. There is still only a few foreigners here but the Chinese people are kind and generous so come and visit.
Weary clean an good location of the hotel. Service real good and the people there are trying their best to make you feel "like home". One of the best experience that I was having during my stays. For shore next time when I will be in Wuhu I will chose the same hotel. You get a pretty nice river view and St Joseph's Cathedral, an historical Catholic church. Mass on Sunday mornings is at 8am.

Hotel is conveniently close to shopping districts. You can take long walks along the esplanade. The standard of the hotel is on par with international standard-- facilities-wise, house-keeping and up-keep.
