Together with Alex, other stuff and guests, we spent lots of time together to go to the beach and for happy hour both in the hostel and outside in the bar. I loved being a volunteer here! Jamily and Ana made as all feel like a big family. The atmosphere was excellent and the chores very well organised. I completely recomend it!! We had organized with these two quite in advance for their stay in our hostel. We welcomed them, they put their bags down and went to the beach.

The moment they came back, spending no more than 5 collective minutes in the hostel, before even exchanging names, they decided they did not want to stay anymore, leaving us stranded without the help. It was their first hostel experience. We personally find this extremely disrespectful for the amount of people we had to refuse to keep their positions on hold for our small hostel.
While they seemed like nice people, their lack of commitment ruined the chances of other hard working, committed workawayers from getting work at our place, as well as understaffed our hostel. They obviously did not take workaway or their position seriously enough to stay at least a couple days to find out what the job truly entailed, where we could have been more understanding and forgiving as well.
It was basically the same as a no-show for us. I hope the next place they work they do not pull this same stunt. Federica is lovely and very easy to get along with. She does her shift well, so you never have to worry when she is working.
Easy to be friends with. She learned the tasks quickly. Really there is nothing more that you can ask from Federica. I recommend other people take the chance to work with her! My time spent here was really great. This hostel has an unique lively vibe. There is also always a lot of party and good athmosphere. The location is really good, in a safe neighbourhood of Fortaleza and close to the nice beach.

I made true friends there, and had some of the craziest parties of my life, including my birthday!!! Alex and Jamily are really chill owners, making everyone feel home.
