I booked it because of the location The hotel is across the road from the Randen Omiya Station for Arashiyama and also across the road from Shijo Omiya station.
It's on many bus routes too. I received a warm welcome when I arrived and every time I went in or out during my stay. That was nice. My room was expectedly small, but had everything I needed. The bed was comfortable and the room had a window I could open hate staying in hotels where I can't have fresh air. The only thing that let it down was the cleanliness of the room The hotel offers a free breakfast of coffee and pastries, but I didn't have it once during my stay as it finished before I was up and dressed. It would be good if it finished at I would stay here again.

Overall very good experience! ROOM: small but had everything eg fridge, hairdryer, desk with lights and usb. Bathroom was also small. Always clean with free bottles of water given to us. Always polite and with good English skills.

Possibility to leave luggage for a few hours after check-out. Big hallway. Breakfast can be included too, which includes at least 8 types of breads and drinks eg coffee, juices, milk. Very nice. This hotel has a great location - close to buses, subways and within walking distance of several places to visit Nijo Castle, Nishiki Market.
The room was clean and well-appointed with a bidet warm toilet seat!! Bottled water was available daily in the small refrigerator in the room. Breakfast consisted of pastries and verious coffee drinks. There are convenience stores and restaurants within walking distance. Date of stay: October Rooms. Sleep Quality.
