On the other hand the government premises at Capital Hill show the absurd richness of the happy few. Lilongwe is a very strange city with no real centre and huge green spaces between its scattered bits of 'town'.

I went to look at various other hotels in the area and all of them where more expensive and their facilities where not nearly as neat and tidy as the facilities at Bridgeview Hotel.
